My dear sweet Neriah,
It is all very surreal and I wish I could wake up to the realisation that it’s all a bad dream, a nightmare.
You were the sweetest of souls, so gentle and so lovable. I loved the moments I babysat you and your sister. Such a beautiful little girl, big beautiful bright eyes and dimples.
Mummy and I often spoke about you and your siblings, your education, your conversations, your experiences and how fast you were growing up. Thinking about this brings a smile to my face. We shared stories and tips on motherhood. She was extremely proud of you and so was I. You made us proud.
My favourite memory is when you came for a sleepover and your big sisters were so excited. I got to know you more, your personality shone through. You were so independent, so easy going, so kind and caring and I could see you mothering your baby sister. I loved how close you were to your big sisters and how they loved you, you truly had a bond and they will feel the void.
You were so caring always putting your siblings’ and other childrens’ needs before yours.
The best thing about you is your love for Jesus. Even at such a tender age, it was very evident and you even gave your life to Him. What an example!
I was honoured to have known you, you were like my baby.
Right now, I know you are in the arms of Jesus, the best and safest place of all.
I will miss you dear sweet one. Sleep well.
YOU WILL REMAIN FOREVER IN MY HEART.
